Mikel Arteta could unleash 23-year-old Arsenal player for the first time this year vs Porto tonight
Arsenal take on Porto in the Champions League tonight, and one player could make his first appearance of the year.
The Gunners have been in amazing form recently. The aggregate score of their last five games reads 21-2, which is just incredible considering three of those fixtures were away from home. Mikel Arteta will want Arsenal to continue that form, and Fabio Vieira could help them do that in the Champions League tonight.

Fabio Vieira could play for Arsenal vs Porto tonight
Fabio Vieira has been at Arsenal since the summer of 2022, but he is yet to become a regular.
The pace and physicality of the English game definitely took its toll on him last season, and what has made it worse this time around is a serious injury.
Vieira was looking good in Arsenal’s colours and was picking up some momentum. Sadly, he picked up a red card against Burnley three months ago and then had to undergo surgery to rectify a groin issue.
Vieria is back now and was involved in full training yesterday. He has travelled to Porto with the squad, and if things go to plan, Mikel Arteta will use him for the first time this year.
The Arsenal boss described Vieira as a player with ‘enormous potential‘ yesterday, and he vowed to ‘get the best out of him’ following his return from injury.
Vieira last played for Arsenal back in November last year.

Fabio Vieira could make a big difference for Arsenal
Fabio Vieira is a dream player for a manager to have at his disposal.
The 23-year-old is an attacking midfielder by trade, but he can play on either wing, as a number eight and even as a false nine. To add to that, he has the ability to score goals and provide assists on a regular basis.
A lot of the season is still left to be played, and Arsenal‘s squad depth is often questioned. Vieira’s return is a huge boost, and his creativity – either off the bench or from the start – could make a big difference for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The game against Porto tonight will be an emotional one for Vieira – it will be the first time he’s back at the Estádio do Dragão since he left them over 18 months ago.
We’re sure he would love to mark his return with a goal or an assist if he gets the nod tonight.
