Midfielder is now ‘expected’ to leave Tottenham Hotspur in January
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur have made a decision on the future of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
That is according to TuttoJuve, which has noted Juventus’s stance on Hojbjerg.
So, what has been reported about Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg? Let’s take a look.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg ‘expected’ to leave Tottenham Hotspur
Well, according to , Juventus want to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Hojbjerg is “expected” to leave Spurs for Juventus on a loan deal in the middle of the season.

Juventus want to have the option to make the loan deal permanent for €25 million (£21.64 million) in the summer of 2024.
The problem is that although Tottenham are willing to send Hojbjerg out on loan in January, the Premier League club want an obligatory clause in the deal. Juventus do not want that.
Tottenham Hotspur should be firm on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg stance
In my view, Tottenham Hotspur have to stand their ground on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. I do not think that Spurs should just let Juventus have him on loan for the rest of the season and then send him back.
Tottenham should do a deal for Hojbjerg on their terms. After all, they are not exactly ‘desperate’ to offload the Denmark international midfielder in the middle of the season.
Moreover, Hojbjerg is still doing well when he is being called into action. He has done a good job for Spurs over the years. True, he is not at the level of someone like Conor Gallagher, a player Tottenham want, but he is a very experienced Premier League player who can get the team through games.
Hojbjerg has made three starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham this season. The midfielder has scored 12 goals and given 15 assists in 234 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
