Middlesbrough fans react to West Ham’s Darren Randolph interest
A number of Middlesbrough fans have taken to Twitter to react to that West Ham United are interested in signing Darren Randolph.
Boro are enduring a tough campaign. Jonathan Woodgate’s men are two places and four points above the bottom three in the Championship. And the fans would have been forgiven for feeling that January could be a crucial month as they look to stay in the second tier.

Unfortunately for Middlesbrough, it appears that the month may see one of their best players depart the Riverside Stadium.
that Boro may look to sell Randolph to raise funds. And it is suggested that a return to the Hammers could be on the cards.

It would be an intriguing piece of business from the Irons. They clearly need to improve their goalkeeper options with Roberto looking hapless as Lukasz Fabianski’s understudy.
Boro fans angry
Randolph has previously enjoyed a spell as the West Ham’s first-choice. And there is no question that he has been brilliant for Boro. He was named in the Championship’s team of the season last term.
Middlesbrough fans clearly have no interest in seeing him leave. A number of eight-figure fees have been suggested as his asking price. They are struggling to see how his departure could lead to a step in a positive direction.
Here is what some of the Boro fans make of the reports…
Sell him to avoid relegation? Sell him and we are 100% relegated ? ??♀️

Hope we don’t sell him on the cheap just to get his wages off the books, want at least what we paid for him
— Tony Baird (@Parmoman)
If he goes I hope it’s a premier league team and we can get good money for him

I’d be happy with 10m if we put it back into the squad
— Andrew Antill (@Andyroo1980)
10-12 millions about right for him
— akmedo (@akmedo)
18million no less
