Micah Richards shares why Yaya Toure is the most complete footballer

Yaya Toure is one🌌 of the best midfielders in⭕ the history of the Premier League.

The Ivorian joined Manchester City from Barcelona in 2010 and became a star. 🐲He got better and better every season and played a massive part in the club’s success during his time th𝔍ere.

Toure won three Premier League titles, three League ☂Cups, an FA Cup🌜 and a Community Shield in his eight years as a Manchester City player.

He was a brilliant midfield💟er and was almost unstop🦹pable on his day.

Micah Richards spent a lot of time with Toure when they wer🅷e together at Manchester City, and he is still in awe of how good a player the Iv🔥orian was.

In the latest , Alan Shearer, Richards and Gary Lineker were asked to name who they thought🥂 was the most complete♛ footballer.

Shearer picked Manchester United legend Wayne✃ Rooney, while Lineker chose Steven Gerrard.

Richards, on the other hand, picked Yaya Toure and explained 𝄹the one reason why the Ivorian deserves that recognition.

“Yaya Toཧure. He’s played centre-back, he’s played midfield and he’s played number 10. He could do everything,” Richards said.

Jack Grealish’s comments on Yaya Toure explains how good he was

Yaya Toure is often overlooked when we’re talking about the b🅘est midfielders in Premier League history.

The likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira are al🐻l mentioned much earlier than the Manchester City legend and perhaps rightly so.

However, Toure has to be in that conversation🅠 as well.

When he was in full flow, very few people could stop him, and Jack Grealish, who has pre⛄viousဣly played against him, raved about him a few months ago.

In an interview with Pro: Direct Soccer on their in January this year, the Manchester City attacker said: “Yaya Toure. When he played for Man City against [Aston] Villa in my debut. He w💛as just silly, man. He was unbelievable.”

🐻“Yeah, [Yaya Tourඣe was head and shoulders above] everyone.

“It was that season [2013/2014 season], do you remember? Yeah, free-kicks, yꦫeah, I’m sure he scored 20 goals or something in the Prem [Premier Leaguജe] from midfield.”
