Micah Richards issues verdict on Arsenal letting Aubameyang leave
Micah Rich😼ards that he does not see why Arsenal lꦅetting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave has to be looked at as a negative as the striker continues to shine at Barcelona.
Aubameyang left the Emirates after the closing stages of the January transfer♚ window. It came after a month of speculation with the forward also stripped of the captaincy.

His departure paved the way for Aubameyang to join Barcelona. And he has certainly made an unbelievable start with the Caꦬtalan giants. He has scored seven in seven in La Liga. He has only started five times.
Alexandre Lacazette meanwhile, has only found the back of the net four times in the Premier League this season. For some, that tally would be bad enough to questioಌn whether Arsenal made the right call letting Aubameyang leave.

Arsenal, of course, are chall🍰enging for the top-four in the Premier League. And it does appear that they may need to produce a near-flawless run of form to get themselves across the line.
‘Have to look at the bigger picture’
But Richards hꩲas suggested that those criticising Arsenal for letting Aubameyang go are🔥 wide of the mark.
“Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. He’s gone there and done well, but so have Arsenal,” . “The way Arteta wanted to play, maybe it suits Lacazette better with runners in behind with Martinelli and Saka, and it’s proven🦋 so.
“Arteta had to make a decision𒐪 and he made that deciღsion. As a manager you have to make big decisons.
“Wo💝uld I have liked to see Aubameyang in the Premier League in an Arsenal shirt? Yes, because I believe when he is playing to the best of his ability Arsenal could be a better team, but it wasn’t meant to be.
“He’s gone there and done well and Arsenal are pla🉐ying the best they’ve played all season. I don’t think it needs to bဣe looked at in a negative way at all.”
Critics cannot forget Aubameyang form before Arsenal exile
Of course, Aubameyang being in that form could 𝕴have been a game-changer for Arsenal. If the Gunners had a lethal goalscorer, they would simply be nailed on for the top-four.
However, Aubameyang♏ was not going to be in that form for Arsenal. He scored four in 14 before his departure.
As Richards suggests, he looked revitalised after leaving. And Arsenal now look to be in a better🍬ཧ place too.
