Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has tipped Eric Dier to get back to his best after the defensive ace signed a new contract with Spurs.
The 26-year-old has been with Tottenham since joining in 2014 from Sporting Lisbon for a reported .
He has made for Spurs, scoring 11 goals and claiming 11 assists.

Dier’s Tottenham contract was due to expire next summer but, on Tuesday, Spurs confirmed that he had penned a new deal which takes him to the summer of 2024.
“I’m really happy to continue here and commit to this new journey we are on,” Dier is quoted by as saying.
“The club gave me my opportunity in England and has given me so much but I want to have even better times.”
Dier has endured a difficult few years due to illness, injury, and loss of form, but Roberts is confident that the England international has the character to return to the heights he’s capable of reaching.

Dier, who has been playing at centre-back recently having made his name as a defensive midfielder, helped Spurs finish second in the Premier League in 2016-17 and reach last season’s Champions League final.
