Memphis Depay reacts to Steven Bergwijn display in Netherlands win
Memphis Depay was amongst those to take to to laud Steven Bergwijn after the Tottenham Hotspur star scored twice for the Netherlands in their win over Denmark on Saturday.
Bergwijn has not had the easiest time for Tottenham of late. He has not scored for Spurs since the dramatic victory over Leicester City back in January.

On that occasion, he managed to put the ball past Kasper Schmeichel on two occasions. Well, the Dane is probably now sick of the sight of Bergwijn after this weekend.

It was Bergwijn who went close to scoring early on, but Schmeichel was able to make a smart save. But he was not to kept out for too long.

He produced a brilliant header after 16 minutes to give the home side the lead. The 24-year-old is probably not known for his aerial ability. But it was a superb attempt.
However, his second was even better. Bergwijn cut in from the left before curling the ball into the far corner with his right foot. Schmeichel made a desperate dive, but was ultimately unable to keep it out.
Of course, the game will largely be remembered for Christian Eriksen scoring a fantastic goal on his return to the international arena.
But Tottenham fans had another reason to look out for the game. Bergwijn provided a little reminder of what he can do.
