‘Mbappe who’ – Rhian Brewster’s pre-season goals get Liverpool fans excited
Liverpool starlet Rhian Brewster continued his excellent form in Sunday’s pre-season game. Brewster netted Liverpool’s third goal in the 3-1 win over Bradford City on Sunday.
James Milner grabbed the first two but Brewster turned the ball in from a tight angle to make it three before half-time. And his performances have been getting Liverpool fans excited.
Brewster was given his pre-season chance by Jurgen Klopp against Tranmere Rovers and he seized it. The England youth international scored twice against Tranmere and now he has three goals in two games (with one assist too).
Liverpool fans have high hopes for Brewster next season. The 19-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for the Reds but he has recovered from a long-term injury and impressed at youth level.
Klopp is a big fan of Brewster and expects him to play a role next season. After Daniel Sturridge left, Brewster will provide cover for Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi in the attacking ranks.
