‘May as well announce the league’: Some fans react after signing ‘brilliant’ Rangers player
On Thursday, Glasgow Rangers confirmed that Greg Docherty had left Ibrox.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Hibernian and would’ve been hoping to kick on in blue this season.
However, Docherty has not featured in any of Rangers’ Scottish Premiership games this term, appearing very much surplus to Steven Gerrard’s requirements at Ibrox.

Gerrard then went on to that the midfielder was not in line for a loan move this season, hinting that the next step were he to leave Ibrox would’ve been on a permanent basis.
Docherty’s permanent departure from Ibrox has now been confirmed, the player joining English League One side Hull City for an undisclosed fee – – on a three-year deal.
Needless to say, plenty of Tigers fans are pleased with their new signing and took to social media to rejoice:

He leaves Ibrox having made , though he didn’t manage to get on the scoresheet.
