He took Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019 and the Carabao Cup showpiece four years earlier.

In addition, Tottenham challenged for the Premier League title a couple of times too.

Pochettino oversaw Harry Kane’s emergence at Spurs, and boasted plenty of exciting players.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Son Heung-min and Dele Alli all flourished under him.

Sadly, with Spurs struggling early in 2019-20, Daniel Levy opted to replace Pochettino with Jose Mourinho.

But since the 50-year-old’s departure, the north Londoners have failed to reach those same heights.

Pochettino is now with Paris Saint-Germain, and has been linked with the Manchester United reins recently.

Speaking ahead of PSG’s Champions League meeting with Real Madrid, he opened up on his time at Tottenham.

“For me was an amazing journey, an amazing time. I still feel that it is my club, my place,” he said when speaking to .

“I think when you really feel the commitment, when you feel the people give everything to try and be successful, when they treat really, really good that they treat us, I think it’s impossible to forget that.

“That is why Tottenham are always going to be a special club for me.”
