Matteo Guendouzi reacts to goal on Instagram; Arsenal trio and Ian Wright reply
Nicolas Pepe and Ian Wright were amongst those to reply to Matteo Guendouzi’s Instagram post after the Arsenal midfielder scored a beauty for his first goal out on loan on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta is coming in for a fair amount of criticism right now. And it is probably fair to say that the doubters have never been louder during his time at the Emirates.

So the last thing he perhaps needed before Arsenal’s next game was to have the midfielder score an outstanding goal to open his account for Hertha Berlin.
The strike came in the clash with Borussia Monchengladbach. Hertha won possession back on the edge of their own box.

The 21-year-old played the first pass of a move that would culminate in the Frenchman curling a sumptuous effort into the top corner from the edge of the home side’s own area.
It was such a clean strike from Guendouzi, who is actually yet to open his Premier League account for his parent club.
So you could understand why he was keen to take to social media following the contest. Guendouzi expressed his delight at scoring, and the bittersweet feeling of taking a point – from a side who have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League…
