What Wolves star Matt Doherty has now said about Matheus Cunha that will be music to Manchester United’s ears
Manchester United have been heavily linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha in recent months.

Matt Doherty tips Manchester United target Matheus Cunha for ‘the highest level imaginable’
Doherty is the latest guest on Sky Sports show Sticker Book Challenge, in 👍which guests are invited to pick their favourite caᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚndidate from a four-option list.
One of the topics was Top Teammate, where Doherty had to pick between Matheus Cunha, Son Heung-min, Harry Kane or Antoine Griezmann.
Doherty claimed that Cunha should be playing week-in, week-out for Atletico Madrid and backed him to be “playing at thꦕe highest ꦰlevel imaginable” soon.
He said: “Sometimes it takes you to move away from a place to find you♏rself, to realize what you need to do, ma🌄ybe to get back to a place.
“Because h✱e should be playing week-in, week-out for Atletico.
“That’s not the case but I’m pretty sure he’s going to be playing at the highest level imaginable – Champions League, stuff like that –🌳 pretty soon. Huge, huge potential.”

The Red Devils recently spoke with Cunha’s camp and TBR Football understands a primary aspect of those talks was ov💦er his release clause.
Specifically, they wanted to figure out whether Cunha’s ꩲrelease clause – worth just ove🅰r £60million – will need to be paid in full, or whether Wolves will accept the fee in instalments.
Sources have stated that Man United have been assured they won’t nไeed to pay all in one go, providing a significant boost to the Red Devils in their hopes of signing Cunha.
