Mateo Joseph has decided whether he’s ready to leave Leeds United amid strong interest from Spain and France

TBR Football can exclusively reveal Mateo Joseph’s stance on leaving Leeds United in the summer.

Signed from Espanyol in 2022, the Spaniard has made just four appearances since making his move to Leeds.

However, perhaps the rationale at Elland Road was to gradually bed Joseph into proceedings.

Next season, Daniel Farke could well have counted on the young striker to play a part for his side in the Premier League.

But Graeme Bailey, TBR Football’s chief correspondent has been informed that Joseph is considering his options away from Leeds United and has ready to bid farewell to the Whites.

While Joseph is aware that a number nine is Leeds’ priority ahead of the 2025/2026 Premier League season, he has concerns about his playing time in the English top-flight.

However, several clubs are looking to snap the youngster up.

In France, Strasbourg are eyeing Joseph’s signature alongside Chelsea goalscorer Marc Guiu.

A number of Spanish clubs are also eager to sign the Whites youngster, with Real Betis, Getafe and Girona interested in securing his services.

Attackers Leeds United are looking to sign in the summer

As Joseph could play his football elsewhere next season, Leeds’ focus will remain on strengthening their side in preparation to survive in the Premier League.

Leeds are in talks to sign Daniel Peretz in between the sticks.

In attack, Leeds would like to sign Manor Solomon permanently and hope to seal a deal for £15 million.

Leeds are in talks to sign Mousa Djenepo as well.

Ukrainian prospect Vladyslav Vanat is liked by Leeds to bolster the centre-forward position as well.

All in all, Daniel Farke and Co have big plans as they would be hoping to take the Premier League by storm in the following campaign, much like they did after securing promotion under Marcelo Bielsa in 2020.
