Masuaku injury could mean Cresswell finally gets West Ham chance
West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell could finally be handed a start by Manuel Pellegrini, with Arthur Masuaku picking up an injury on international duty.
The full-back made his international bow for DR Congo on Monday, but sustained a minor ankle injury and has already returned to his club, .

Masuaku will have a few days in which to try and shake off the injury, with the Hammers taking on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.
Should he fail to do so, then Pellegrini may finally call on Cresswell to start.
Even if Masuaku does recover, he may have lost out on a couple of training sessions, forcing Pellegrini to go with the Englishman at the weekend.
And that might not be such a bad thing.
Cresswell can harm Tottenham
West Ham may be losing an attacking threat in Masuaku, but Cresswell can be just as dangerous.

His set piece delivery is often very good, and the Irons have some big players in their ranks such as Marko Arnautovic, Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop.
So far this season, Tottenham have shown an uncharacteristically poor ability to deal with set pieces.
Pellegrini may wish to take the opportunity to exploit this weakness by fielding Cresswell and giving Masuaku some extra time to recover.

And it’ll be important for Cresswell to perform if he does get the chance.
Pellegrini has appeared to favour Masuaku over him this term for some reason, despite some questionable defending.
