Martin Odegaard and Ben White both send love to £27m Arsenal player after what he’s posted on Instagram
Martin Odegaard and Ben White have both sent a message to Arsenal teammate William Saliba.
The duo responded after the Frenchman uploaded a post on Instagram.
So, what did Martin Odegaard and Ben White send to Arsenal No.2 William Saliba? Let’s take a look…
Martin Odegaard and Ben White message William Saliba
Well, the defender defiantly posted “this is our house” on Instagram after Arsenal defeated Porto in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 at the Emirates Stadium.
Saliba’s full stated: “This is our House! Thank you Gooners!!!”
In response, White sent a heart emoji – sending love towards the France international.
Odegaard also replied, sending a heart along with the raised hands emoji, which tends to be used as a congratulatory symbol.
Saliba’s defensive partner Gabriel Magalhaes also commented on the post, adding a heart of his own.
Clearly, the 22-year-old is a popular figure amongst his teammates, and rightly so after consistently colossal performances at the back this season
Arsenal showed courage
Make no mistake about it, Porto were very solid across the two legs, and arguably did enough to squeeze into the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
It was a tricky Round of 16 tie for Mikel Arteta and his players to navigate through, but the Gunners showed courage to unlock Porto and force the knockout clash into penalties, in what was also a very physical match.

In our view, the Arsenal of old would have crumbled, similarly to that disastrous UEFA Europa League Round of 32 defeat against Olympiakos back in February 2020.
There have also been several collapses against in Europe under Arsene Wenger which displayed a soft side to Arsenal – mainly in clashes against Bayern Munich.
Now – however – there is a steely side to the Gunners, and the north Londoners certainly showcased that when shoving Porto aside on Tuesday.
