Martin Keown says Arsenal have a teenager who’s more impressive than Tottenham’s Archie Gray
There are so many exciting young talents in north London right now.
Arsenal faced Tottenham in the north London derby on Wednesday, and the standout performers on the day were t🌸he young𓂃 stars.
Archie Gray earned praise after the game, while Myles Lewis-Skelly was brilliant too.
Speaking to Football JOE, Martin Keown has been 🦂discu🎃ssing the young talents at Arsenal and Spurs right now.
Keown was asked to pick the best of the bunch between Lucas Bergvall, Ethan Nwaneri,ꩵ Archie Gray and Myles Lewis-Skell𓂃y, and he made an interesting pick.

Martin Keown says Ethan Nwaneri is more impressive than Archie Gray
Keown sꩵhared his verdict on th🅘e young players making waves in north London.
The pundit said that all four players are brilliant, but he picked Nwaneri as the bri💞ghtest of the bunch.
“Bergvall has really impressed me, he’s impressive, tenacious and he gets around the pitch. Archie Gray is going to have a really good career. I’m not sure he’s playing the rig🉐ht position, but he’s so versatile,” Keown said.
“Nwaneri is a wonderful talent, probably the youngest of the group, he’s an immense talent. Lewis-Skeℱlly is another who has impressed me. Braveꦕ on the ball.
“They’re all really good players, Nwaneri is a wonderful talent, eye-catching, maybe some of the others are just as important, but Nwaneri is the one who unlocks the doors, so, for now, he’s the one who has impres꧅𒐪sed me the most.”
Nwaneri compared to other young stars
Keown says that Nwaneri is the most impressive of these young talඣents, but, at the moment⭕, he’s not being given as many chances to show it.
Indeed, ꦇinterestingly, Nwaneri has played the fewest minutes of all four of these players this season.
Ethan Nwaneri | Myles Lewis-Skelly | Archie Gray | Lucas Bergvall | |
Games | 12 | 7 | 14 | 14 |
Starts | 2 | 4 | 7 | 3 |
Minutes | 232 | 332 | 688 | 374 |
Goals | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Age | 17 | 18 | 18 | 18 |
Intriguingly, Nwaneri🐬 has also scored more than any of these players too, but, that said, he is the most attacking of the quartet.
Nwaneri is highly rated, so he will eventually get his chance, but it may just be a case of Mikel Arteta managing the youngster’s minutes. Afte🐟r all, he is the youngstes of these four player▨s too.
The future is bright for all four of these players, and thi𒊎s group of young stars could well define the north Londo🌼n derby in years to come.
