Martin Keown predicts what will happen when Tottenham face Arsenal this weekend

Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal this weekend in the North London derby.

The return of Premier League football is fast approaching as the international break begins to draw to a close.

Mikel Arteta’s men will be hoping to retain their 100 per cent record on Sunday but will be under no illusion as to how tough a game it’ll be.

Tottenham have certianly progressed under Ange Postecoglou’s stewardship and tend to dominate most games, though, they’ve lacked a cutting edge so far this season.

With that said, former Arsenal player Martin Keown has now issued his verdict on the clash.

Martin Keown predicts Arsenal to beat Tottenham Hotspur

When asked on if a Tottenham win would be a shock, Keown said: “I think it probably would, but I don’t see it happening.

“I think that Arsenal are still good enough – when you look at their defensive record and the number of clean sheets in recent times.

“If you look at their away record you start to think they have the pedigree of champions.

“I’m going to go with Arsenal but you have to earn everything you get at Spurs now.”
