Marsch hints he’ll unleash ‘dangerous’ Leeds talent v Arsenal, looked great in training this week
Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch has backed Patrick Bamford to break his duck soon.
The Whites boss, speaking with , said the 29-year-old is getting closer and closer to full fitness.
Marsch also said Bamford “looked good in training this week” ahead of Sunday’s meeting with Arsenal.

The Leeds boss brought the striker into the side to make just his third Premier League start of the season last Sunday.
Bamford had his moments, such as the first-half effort which forced an excellent diving save from Vicente Guaita.
However, the £10million man also – understandably – looked rusty, causing Marsch to sub him off in the 62nd minute.
The start was Bamford’s first since picking up a groin injury in the draw with Southampton back in August.
The striker, who suffered an injury-plagued 2021-22 campaign, has made just three substitute appearances in between.
‘He’s part of the solution’
However, Marsch is confident that the “always dangerous” Bamford will come good eventually, hinting he’ll play against the Gunners.
He said: “Firstly, it’s great that I think he’s getting closer and closer to fully being 100%, which he knows he hasn’t been in quite some time.
“So that part’s really good. He’s looked good in training this week.
“I said after the match that he’s part of the solution for us for sure, in terms of finding ways to score more goals, and that’s what it is.

“It’s getting him physically better, it’s getting him fitter, it’s getting him more up to speed with our tactics with everything we’re trying to do and getting him sharper around the goal because we know he’s always dangerous.
“So I think he’s very important guy and we need to keep them sharp, sharp and fit until we get to November 12.”
