Mark Lawrenson predicts Spurs vs Leeds result
Mark Lawrenson that Leeds United’s style may play right into Tottenham Hotspur’s hands when the two sides meet on Saturday, as he backed Spurs to get the three points.
Jose Mourinho’s men go into January looking for their first league victory since the North London derby. They have drawn two and lost two since beating Arsenal.

Leeds meanwhile, have continued to steal many of the headlines. They have scored 13 goals in their last four games, putting five past both Newcastle and West Brom.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have also conceded six against Manchester United during that recent run. So predicting Saturday’s outcome looks to be an incredibly difficult task.
But Lawrenson has suggested that Leeds’ style of play may be exactly what Mourinho’s Tottenham need to come up against as they look to end their recent run of underwhelming form.

“Leeds completely dismantled West Brom earlier this week, and their game plan will be “up and at ’em” here too,” .
“That is exactly how Tottenham like opposing teams to be, though. I just feel it will play into Jose Mourinho’s hands a little bit, as his side look to get back to winning ways.
“It won’t be dull, though. It never is with Leeds – they have you on the edge of your seat, whichever end the ball is at.”
Spurs have fallen down the table in recent times. But with no team really taking a grasp of the title race – Liverpool have drawn their last two – Mourinho’s men still have reason to be optimistic.
Winning their game in hand would leave Tottenham four points off the summit.
And while Leeds currently sit in the bottom-half of the table, beating Bielsa’s men would be a fantastic statement for Spurs to make as they look to get back on track.
