Mark Lawrenson predicts Crystal Palace vs Arsenal result
Mark Lawrenson that he expects Arsenal to extend their winning run when they face Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Mikel Arteta’s side made it three league wins in a row for the first time since the turn of the year as they beat Chelsea 1-0 last Wednesday.

Palace meanwhile, go into their next game in slightly better form with six points coming from their last three games having suffered three straight defeats before that.
The Eagles did superbly to come back from 2-1 down in the final 15 minutes to beat Aston Villa on Sunday. Nevertheless, Lawrenson believes that Arsenal are set to come out on top this week.

“Arsenal, who had the weekend off, are on a run of three successive league wins and I think they will make it four in a row at Selhurst Park. Their young players have made a difference for them in recent weeks,” , as he predicted a 2-0 win.
“If Palace boss Roy Hodgson is leaving when his contract ends in the summer, it would be a nice touch if they could make an announcement before this match so he gets a proper send off in his final home game in charge. It might help lift the players too.”
TBR View: Palace will set sights on influencing Premier League’s top-half
Arsenal still have an outside chance of finishing in the top six this season.
And while that looks highly unlikely, it must be noted that Liverpool are the only team above them to match their tally of nine points from their last three fixtures.
Palace will be looking to have an impact on the race for the European spots with a bottom-half finish now confirmed.
They face Liverpool on the final day, so they could certainly still have a major influence on how the top-half of the table looks when the campaign concludes.
