Mark Lawrenson identifies Tottenham threat ahead of Champions League final against Liverpool
BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has raved about Tottenham duo Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Spurs face off against Liverpool on Saturday night in an all-English European final and have a chance to create history.
The North London club are waiting to see if Harry Kane can make his return from injury, but he’s not featured since April.
Mauricio Pochettino could look to start with the attacking duo of Son and Moura, who played crucial roles during the team’s route to the final.
Lawrenson has suggested that starting with them may be the best way to get at Liverpool’s defence on the counter attack.
“Playing with Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min through the middle has a good look about it for Tottenham’s attack,”
“Those two are both absolutely rapid and, if they play, then they are definitely going to cause Liverpool problems on the counter-attack.”

TBR’s View:
Son has been in excellent form for Spurs this season, scoring 20 goals and supplying 10 assists in 47 games across all competitions.
The South Korea international helped his team eliminate Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals and is a dangerman that Liverpool need to watch out for.
Meanwhile, Brazilian Moura is a speed machine that proved his worth with a hat-trick against Ajax in the semi-finals.
The attacker has 15 goals to his name across all competitions and did score in his last game against Liverpool in March.
