Resurgent Fred means Manchester United shouldn’t pay top dollar for West Ham star
Declan Rice was linked with moves to both Chelsea and Manchester United yesterday,
The England international is set to be a wanted man again this summer with the youngster looking destined to sign for a top club at some point.
Rice won’t come cheap and it has previously been reported that West Ham will stand firm on a valuation.

At 21 and with years left ahead of him, the valuation is probably a true reflection of his quality and potential in today’s market.
Manchester United, however, have a midfielder bang in form in their team and because of Fred’s resurgence, they should avoid paying top money for Rice.
The 27-year-old arrived at United from Shakhtar in 2018 and it’s fair to say he’s taken some time to get up to scratch.
, Red Devils supporters had perhaps expected more from him but of late Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has started to get the best out of the midfielder.
Fred has a pass success ration of 87.8% for the season so far. He also makes around 65 passes per game and also completes nearly five long balls in each fixture
United are a club who should never be held at ransom by their rivals and the Rice scenario is no exception.
Transformation
The West Ham is clearly a decent player and he could get even better but Manchester United should be calling the shots.

Fred has shown tremendous determination to bounce back from a slow start to life at Old Trafford and it’d be harsh to now bin him in the summer.
If Chelsea are willing to pay £90 million for Rice’s service then United should perhaps let them.
A central midfielder isn’t a must for the Red Devils and it wouldn’t be the worst situation in the world to stick by Fred next season.
