Manchester United: Mourinho wants Chelsea reject; Mata contract priority; defender’s agent discusses speculation

The  report☂ that Jose Mourinho will attempt to secure a January bargain and a reunion with his former Chelsea player by seeking a cut price dea🌃l for Nigeria midfielder Mikel John Obi (previously known as John Obi Mikel), before his contract expires in the summer.

The 29-year-old is yet to feature under Antonio Conte and is free to leave the club, with Mourinho believing that he would be the perfect man to partner Paul Pogba in midfield to allow him more freedom to roam forwards. The move ♕would come 10 years after he agreed to sign for United before changing his mind  to put pen to paper with Chelsea.

One of Mourinho’s ဣother priorities is believed to be Benfica’s Swedish central defender Victo🦄r Lindelof, whose agent has spoken to Swedish newspaper  to reveal:

“I don’t want to comment on various clubs but there is concrete interest from some of the biggest in Europe. He really enjoys it at Benfica. At the same time, as I have said before, there is no smoke without fire when it comes to that. Many ꦓclubs are interested in him, but Victor is focused on Benfica.”

The 22-year-old is in form and in demand, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic among thos🧸e to praise him 🅰after he has shown his qualities in the Champions League and in Portugal in recent weeks.
