Manchester United join hunt for Brazilian forward but Newcastle have already opened talks
TBR Football understand Manchester United have now joined the hunt to sign Luis Henrique – who Newcastle have already moved for.
Ruben Amorim desperately needs a successful summer of recruitment after winning just six of his 21 Premier League games in charge of Manchester United so far, a dismal run which has left the Red Devils 14th in the table.
INEOS are more than aware of this fact, with planning already underway ahead of the summer transfer window.

TBR Football understand Manchester United have started to do some groundwork on a potential deal to sign Luis Henrique from Marseille – although they have some catching up to do with Newcastle.
Manchester United join Newcastle in race to sign Luis Henrique
Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent for TBR Football – has now been told that Manchester United are scouting the Brazilian ahead of a potential summer swoop.
We understand Newcastle have already opened talks to sign Henrique – with Nottingham Forest firmly in the picture too – although Manchester United have now opted to join the race as INEOS aim to bolster the squad for Amorim.
The South American is viewed as a possible option to play in the right wing-back role under the man from Lisbon next season, having impressed in that position for Marseille this season.
Henrique can boast nine goals and eight assists in 31 appearances across all competitions so far this term, also playing ten games on the left to showcase his versatility.

Sources add that Newcastle – who like Aaron Ramsdale – contrastingly see the Marseille No.44 as a winger, and would not use him as a wing-back should a deal materialise.
TBR Football understand Everton are also admirers of Henrique, and have scouted the 23-year-old this season.
Inter Milan have already gone public with Luis Henrique admiration
Inter Milan are another side keen to sign the man born in Joao Pessoa this summer, and have already gone public to reveal he is on their shortlist.

Beppe Marotta – President of the Italian giants – told Sky Sports: “Luis Henrique? He is a good player but there are many good players in our notebook. It is too early to talk about a conclusion now.”
Henrique is contracted to Marseille until June 2028 – so the French giants find themselves in a strong negotiating position.
