Manchester United join Fulham and Everton in race for £25m Brazilian gem who’s a ‘complete forward’
Manchester United, Fulham and Everton have had differing starts to the Premier League season and their goals are now clear after the international break.
The Red Devils have had an extremely underwhelming start to the season, sitting 14th in the standings, and Erik ten Hag’s future is increasingly uncertain.
Meanwhile, the Cottagers have begun the campaign brightly and sit eighth in the table, so they’ll be eager to kick on and cement a spot in the top half over the coming weeks.
As for the Toffees, they are are 16th in the table, though they’ve steadied the ship in recent weeks and will be eager to keep climbing up the table.
The January transfer window is now just 10 weeks away, so the likes of Man United, Fulham and Everton will likely be keeping an eye out on potential targets.
According to Ben Jacobs, all three Premier League clubs have set their sights on one of Brazil’s most exciting young forwards.

Manchester United, Fulham and Everton eyeing Kaua Elias
Jacobs, writing on , says Man United, Fulham and Everton are among the clubs in pursuit of Fluminense forward Kaua Elias.
The Red Devils are deemed a “somewhat new suitor” for the 18-year-old.
While Sir Jim Ratcliffe is intent on prioritising finding more British-born talent, they aren’t ruling South America out as a market.
Meanwhile, the Cottagers have apparently been scouting Elias for more than a year.
They reportedly believe the 18-year-old has the qualities to become a prolific scorer due to his movement off the ball and natural eye for goal.
Jacobs then named Everton, Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli as three other clubs that are eyeing Elias, while Real Sociedad reportedly saw a €20million (£16.8million) bid rejected in the summer.
Fluminense are said to have placed a valuation of €30million (£25million) plus add-ons on Elias and, to date, no suitor has indicated their desire to match this number.

Kaua Elias style of play
Elias has played 34 games in all competitions for Fluminense, scoring six times and winning the 2023 Copa Libertadores.
He was also top scorer at the 2023 Under-17 South American Championship with Brazil.
Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig recently deemed Elias a “complete forward” whose strengths include pace, finishing, off the ball, instinct, technique, flair, and athleticism.
Kulig also compared Elias to Italy great Fabio Quagliarella and gave the young Brazilian a potential rating of 8.5 out of 10.
