Manchester United fans are happy that Liam Delap is set for Chelsea

This has come as a relief for many Red Devils fans, who feel he wouldn’t have been the right choice for a Man United team in need of someone more established.
“Dodged a bullet with Delap… thank god,” one fan wrote on X. “Would have been Hojlund Mk II at United.”
Another fan wrote: “Here we go by Fab. Delap to Chelsea is done. Wasn’t a big fan of the player. Dodged a bullet in my opinion.”
Others also expressed relief, with one supporter saying: “We have dodged a serious bullet by not signing Delap.”
Another wrote: “Delap moves like a Championship striker trying to cosplay as Premier League quality, dodged a bullet and a flop in the making.”
Another said: “Made up Delap signed for Chelsea.
“Our fans wouldn’t stop going on about him, proper overhyping him to be this superstar. Bullet dodged in my opinion.”
