The report in the Italian news outlet noted that United think that Dybala, who can play as a forward, striker or playmaker, would complete their attack.

TuttoJuve also claimed interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Newcastle United in the 30-year-old.

Paulo Dybala’s release clause

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on X certain details about Paulo Dybala’s contract that would be great news for Manchester United.

As you can see below, Romano has claimed that there is a release clause of €12 million (£10.33 million) in the forward’s contract.

However, that clause is valid only until January 15. As Romano has noted, if a club from outside Italy triggers it, then it will be up to Dybala to make a decision on his future.

This means that if Manchester United are willing to pay just over £10 million for the 2022 Qatar World Cup winner, then they could be able to sign Dybala.

While Roma are a big club, United are one of the biggest in the world and could be appealing to Dybala.

United are struggling upfront. Rasmus Hojlund has scored just one goal in 15 Premier League matches and is still developing as a footballer. After all, he is only 20.

Dybala is 30 now and is at the top of his game and could be able to make an immediate impact at United. Real Madrid and Brazil legend Roberto Carlos said in that he is “world class” and “a great striker”.

During his time at Juventus, Dybala 115 goals in 293 appearances and won five Serie A titles.

The 30-year-old has scored four goals and given six assists in 12 Serie A matches for AS Roma this season.  In 2022-23, Dybala scored 12 goals and gave six assists in 22 Serie A starts for Jose Mourinho’s team.
