Manchester United could make move to sign ‘incredible’ Tottenham star

reports that Manchester United could make a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, providing they qualify for the Champions League this season.

Kane’s long-term future in north London remains in doubt with the striker entering the last 18-months of his contract.

The 29-year-old has been a shining light for Antonio Conte’s men once again this season and has already bagged 17 goals in all competitions.

But with Spurs currently underperforming and Conte’s future also in doubt, Kane could attract plenty of interest come the end of the season.

Man United could make move for Kane

reports that Bayern Munich remain interested in signing Kane this summer, with the Bundesliga giants identifying the England captain as one of their main targets to replace Robert Lewandowski.

But Bayern are aware that it will be difficult to convince Kane to make the switch to Germany as he is approaching Alan Shearer’s all-time goals record in the Premier League.

And Erik Ten Hag’s side could emerge as a possible option for Kane to remain in England’s top-flight.

The outlet notes that the Red Devils could become a possible destination for the England captain providing they qualify for the Champions League this season.

Kane looked set on leaving Tottenham before the beginning of last season as he received interest from Manchester City.

Of course, Daniel Levy was able to hold firm on his valuation of the striker due to him having three-years left on his deal at the time.

But by the time the current season ends, Tottenham will be in a much weaker position as Kane will only have a year left on his contract.

Spurs will be desperate for their ‘incredible‘ talisman to put pen to paper but it remains to be seen whether he sees his long-term future in north London.

Kane has made it clear that he wants to challenge for the biggest honours and while Tottenham were in a promising position at the end of last season, they’ve regressed under Conte during the current campaign.
