Manchester United: Bundesliga target wants move; £40 million race with Chelsea; extension for midfielder

Reported target and Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu has spoken to discuss speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford and seemingly talked up a move to Manchester as he told :

The move means that the Belgian will continue to be paid £120,000 per week but avoids him entering into talks with European clubs as he was entitled to from 1st January.

The 29-year-old has been in and out of the team under Mourinho this season and it was unclear whether or not the former Everton man would be retained or not with additions clearly a priority for the club.
