United are desperate to secure the services of the brightest talents of the next generation, with the 22-year-old said to be among the options being considered despite Monaco having put a £40 million price tag on his head and seemingly having ruled out a sale this month, meaning that Mourinho may have to wait until the summer to get his man.

Until then, the club will definitely retain the services of Marouane Fellaini after the club opted to activate a clause in his contract to extend his current deal to next summer.
