Manchester United are now ready to pay £35m to sign ‘physically very strong’ centre-back

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are interested in signing Radu Dragusin from Genoa in the January transfer window.

So, what has been reported about Manchester United and Radu Dragusin? Let’s take a look.

Manchester United linked with Radu Dragusin

Well, according to , Manchester United are interested in signing Radu Dragusin from Genoa in the January transfer window.

The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that United are ready to pay as much as €40 million (£34.60 million) for the 21-year-old central defender. That is the transfer fee that Genoa are asking for the Romania international.

TuttoJuve has noted that Juventus are now regretting selling Dragusin in January 2023.

My View: Tottenham Hotspur need to hurry up

In my opinion, if Manchester United are willing to pay the asking price of Radu Dragusin, then Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur have to step up their game regarding a potential deal.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that the defender has already agreed personal terms with Spurs, who are now in talks with his club Genoa over a transfer in January.

I believe that Tottenham, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, need to accelerate those talks and get a deal done with Genoa soon.

Manchester United are a big club, and although they are not doing particularly well at the moment, they could be appealing to Dragusin. After all, leaving Genoa for the Red Devils would be a step-up for any footballers.

Dragusin has scored two goals and given one assist in 18 Serie A matches for Genoa so far this season.
