that Rangers-linked Jake Hastie is set to leave the Scottish Premiership club, and has already signed a pre-contract agreement at another side.
Hastie, 21, returned to Motherwell after a loan at Alloa in the January window. He has since made 14 appearances for Robinson’s side, and surprised many by scoring seven goals.
His eye-catching form has seen him linked with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers since, with the Liverpool legend confirming that Rangers are interested in Hastie, : “It’s no secret that there’s an interest.”
Robinson was asked about Gerrard confirming an interest in Hastie, to which the Northern Irish boss declared that Hastie had refused to sign a new deal at Fir Park and that he has already signed a pre-contract with another club.

“[Jake] won’t for sign for me. I believe Jake’s signed for another club but it’s not for me to announce,”
TBR’s view
Hastie is showing plenty of potential and has a big future. But moving to Rangers is likely to only hamper his progress, considering the club are already signing Jordan Jones.
Gerrard’s side boast Glenn Middleton, Daniel Candeias, Eros Grezda and Jamie Murphy. That list is already five-strong, with the potential signing of Liverpool’s Ryan Kent on another loan or a permanent basis.
Hastie may have to be patient and turn out for the club’s reserve side before being given a chance in the senior team.
