Manager says £60m Tottenham target could play big role in Euro 2024 final
Former Queens Park Rangers manager Gareth Ainsworth has tipped one player linked with Tottenham to play a huge role in today’s Euro 2024 final.
England face Spain later tonight in what will be a historic fixture for both nations, with the Three Lions competing in only their third-ever international final having lost to Italy in the last Euros at Wembley Stadium.

Speaking to , the former QPR boss tipped Crystal Palace star and rumoured Tottenham target Eberechi Eze to play a part if England are to win against Spain, with Ainsworth saying: “In the final, he could play the part as a sub if we need that bit of magic.”
Strongly linked with a move to Spurs this summer, the £60m-rated playmaker has impressed for England this summer when coming on from the bench, with Eze providing a lot of danger and moments of real quality despite his limited playing time.
Facing off against Spain today, though, could be Eze’s biggest test yet in his career, where the 26-year-old will be itching to come on for the Three Lions and to give everything he can to bring football home at last for England.
And for Tottenham, a good performance from Eze could be what pushes the north London side into finally making a real move to sign the Palace superstar this summer.

The Greenwich-born talent has shown his credentials this summer when given the chance for England, with Eze proving to be quite the attacking and creative threat down the left-wing when called upon by Gareth Southgate.
And a top performance tonight coupled with a historic England win could be what gives Tottenham the excuse they need to move for Eze, who could thrive in north London next season.
