Man United’s Christian Eriksen says £40m Tottenham target is the fittest player he’s ever seen
Christian Eriksen has played with some incredible players over the years.
Eriksen has worked with some world-class players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.
Speaking to ESPN, Eriksen has been building his ‘ultimate’ footballer based on a number of attributes.
Predictably, Eriksen picked the likes of Kylian Mbappe for his speed and Neymar for his skill, but he made an interesting choice when he was asked about who is the fittest player he’s seen.
According to Eriksen, Scott McTominay is the fittest player he’s ever seen as he picked the Manchester United midfielder for his endurance.
Interestingly, Tottenham Hotspur are apparently interested in signing Scott McTominay this summer.
Christian Eriksen says Scott McTominay is the fittest player he’s seen
Eriksen named his United teammate as the fittest player in the game.
“Endurance?” Eriksen was asked.
“Scott McTominay,” Eriksen said.

Scott McTominay could be perfect for Ange Postecoglou
McTominay has been linked to Tottenham, and Eriksen’s comments here just go to show why he’d be perfect for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Postecoglou’s midfielders have to be high-energy, the Australian’s style is all about pressing at a high-tempo and playing with maximum energy.
McTominay is one of the best players in the Premier League when it comes to his stamina, and, as Eriksen says, he may well be the fittest player around.
Of course, whether or not Tottenham go in for McTominay remains to be seen. Spurs do still need another midfield addition and given that McTominay is seemingly surplus to requiremets at Manchester United, a deal could be possible.
