‘Magnificent’ £25m Arsenal player spotted back in individual training after injury
Whilst it’s nothing compared to different points of the past two seasons, Mikel Arteta is already navigating a frustrating amount of injuries at Arsenal this campaign.
In typical fashion, Gabriel Jesus picked up a knock just when it looked like he was ready to explode at Arsenal.
The Brazilian is yet to play more than💟 27 games in a Premier League season for the Gunners since he signed from Manchester City in 2022.
Of course Mikel Merino is now injured at Arsenal too, suffering a freak issue in traini🦄ng shortly after signing from Real Socဣiedad.
Merino’s absence is now particularly frustrating given Declan Rice is missing the upcoming north London derby through sus💛pension 🌟– what would have been the ideal opportunity for the Spaniard.
💎And in addition to Takehiro Tomiyasu, who also appears to be out for the foreseeable future, there’s also been a forgotten member of Arteta’s squad on the sidelines.
Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney back in training after failing to find summer exit
Kieran Tierney, who signed for 𒐪the club back in 2019, has fallen out of favour under Arteta in recent years,❀ explaining why he spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad.
But after suffering a serious hamstring issue at the Euros with Scotland, it seems as if Tierney’s chances of securing a sum𝓰mer move away from Arsenal were hampered.

Were it not for the injury✃, it seems unlikely that Tierney would still be at the club today, however, the Scot has just been named in Arsenal’s Champions League squad.
And via pictures from Arsenal’s training sessions earlier this week, Tierney has ꦫnow been spotted back in individual training after his injury.
The defender, who has been described as ‘’ in the past, is also expected to🅘 be included in Arteta’s Premier League squad, an interesting option on the left.
Kieran Tierney is still a stronger option than Jakub Kiwior
Although Jaku෴b Kiwior hasn’t played any minutes at all so far this season, he remains an important part of Arꦓteta’s side.
But perhaps Tierney does actually have th𒀰e ability to get ahead of the Poland international should he stick around, at least whe🐽n it comes to the left-back role.
Arsenal were open to Kiwior leaving on loan this summer, possibly be💜caus𝔉e they were aware that Tierney would be sticking around until January at least.
Crystal Palace wanted Kiwior after already executing a𓂃 deal for Eddie Nketiah.
But ultimately Kiwior stayed, but even without considering🎐 Tierney’s return, it’s almost impossible to see the defender getting past Riccardo Calafiori right now in either of his preferred roles.
