‘Magic’ £30m player Tottenham want to sign has just sent a two-word message to Djed Spence

Tottenham Hotspur are just days away from jetting off on their pre-season tour of Asia with just one permanent signing completed.

The Lilywhites will take to the pitch for the second time this summer on Saturday with a pre-season visit to Queens Park Rangers.

A number of the Tottenham starters are still enjoying their summer break following the two major international tournaments this summer.

This has allowed Ange Postecoglou with the opportunity to provide some minutes to some players who he may still be making a decision on their future.

Perhaps the prime example of this is Djed Spence who was handed 45 minutes on Wednesday against Hearts.

Following the game in Edinburgh, Spence received a message from a player who Tottenham have been looking to potentially sign this summer.

Tottenham’s Djed Spence received message from summer target

An interesting few weeks lie ahead of Spence now with the right-back having impressed massively on Wednesday night.

There have been a lot of questions surrounding the 23-year-old with his loan at Leeds cut short due to concerns over his attitude.

Spence has been linked with a possible exit from Tottenham this summer but may just have revived his career in north London against Hearts.

And it seems there is one player who was keen to congratulate Spence after the game as he took to social media.

In the wake of the game at Tynecastle, Spence posted on his Instagram account with a number of photos from the game.

The post saw a number of players from Spurs share their support with Destiny Udogie and Brennan Johnson sharing their own messages.

However, there was also a message from Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson who said: “Man’s hot”.

The ‘magic’ Gudmundsson is a player who Tottenham are said to be keen to potentially sign this summer.

Tottenham face serious competition for Albert Gudmundsson

It is no real surprise that Tottenham are showing an interest in the £30m-rated Gudmundsson given what the Icelandic forward showed in Serie A over the 2023/24 campaign.

The forward was able to provide a return of 14 goals and four assists in the league alone for Genoa.

However, he is also a player who is receiving a lot of interest from within Italy with the likes of Juventus monitoring Gudmundsson’s situation closely.

Spurs fans may now be hoping Spence and even Radu Dragusin could potentially put in a good word to the 27-year-old over a possible move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
