‘Maestro’… Teammate amazed by Arsenal loanee’s display in emphatic win this week

Albert Sambi Lokonga has been praised on social media after the Arsenal loanee helped Luton stun Brighton on Tuesday night.

Albert Sambi Lokonga certainly appears to be finding his feet at Kenilworth Road after missing much of the early part of the season due to injury.

Arsenal will welcome upturn in midfielder’s form

Arsenal fans will be pleased to see Lokonga doing well at Luton. Unfortunately, it seems hard to imagine him making the grade at the Emirates, particularly when you consider how much Mikel Arteta’s side have improved since his arrival.

But Lokonga’s form surely increases the likelihood of Arsenal attracting some decent offers for the former Anderlecht captain in the summer.

Arsenal have not made any signings in the summer, seemingly confirming that their hands are somewhat tied by Profit and Sustainability Rules right now.

So offloading those on the fringes could hand Arteta a big boost in the summer. And Lokonga is doing a very decent job of showing that he can make an impact at Premier League level with the increasingly impressive Luton.
