Luka Jovic is open to AC Milan move despite Tottenham and Arsenal interest

Arsenal and Tottenham could be handed a blow with Luka Jovic apparently keen on making a move to AC Milan this summer.

The Real Madrid striker has struggled to fire since securing a big-money move to Spain in 2019.

And according to Jovic is apparently keen to explore the option of a move to Milan this summer.

That is, in part, due to his relationship with current Milan star, Ante Rebic. The Serbian striker is big friends with Rebic, with conversations between the pair having already reportedly been held.

Jovic only signed for Madrid in the summer for a fee exceeding £50m. ()

However, since that move, he has struggled for goals. The 22-year-old has managed only two goals in the white of Madrid. That has, inevitably, led to rumours of a potential move away.

Both Spurs and Arsenal have been with an interest in Jovic. Milan’s apparent good relationship with Madrid, coupled with Jovic’s relationship with Rebic, could well put a spanner in the works, however.

There’s no doubt that Luka Jovic will want to ensure his reputation is rebuilt somewhat during the 2020/21 season.

His season in Madrid has been a disaster, frankly. Zinedine Zidane is not keen on him, while his form has been below the expected level, to say the very least.

However, there is a player there in Jovic. Indeed, Lionel Messi previously claimed Jovic was a ‘magical’ talent.

AC Milan is still a big draw for players, too. And while Spurs and Arsenal can offer Premier League football, Milan remains one of Europe’s glamour clubs.
