Luis Binks, Joe Hart and Tottenham players send Instagram messages to left-footer
Harvey White was one of a number of young Tottenham Hotspur stars to make their debuts on Thursday night as Jose Mourinho’s men cruised past Bulgarian side Ludogorets with a 4-0 win – and plenty have responded to his post on Instagram.
Carlos Vinicius scored his first goals for Spurs since joining the club on a loan-to-buy from Benfica, netting a first-half brace. Lucas Moura and Harry Winks also got their names on the score sheet – the latter scoring from all of 50 yards.
Such a commanding performance and win allowed Mourinho to hand out a few debuts. He brought on Jack Clarke for just his second outing, while Dan Scarlett, Alfie Whiteman and White all came off the bench to make their debuts for Spurs.
White, who is a regular in the Under-23 side and can play at left-back, in central midfield or even on the wing, posted on Instagram following his debut – which saw him play the last eight minutes for Spurs, replacing Dele Alli.
Despite the win, Spurs still only sit second in their Europa League group behind Belgian side Antwerp – having been beaten by them last time out. They take on LASK in Austria next week, with a win securing a place in the group stage.
White, meanwhile, is likely to return to the Under-23 side for the time being – with the reserves’ next game against Leicester on Monday. Many reacted to his Instagram, including ex-Spurs man Binks, Joe Hart and plenty of others.
