Lucas Bergvall already thinks £25m Tottenham Hotspur player is a ‘very warm’ character

Lucas Bergvall claims to have known Tottenham Hotspur star Dejan Kulusevski for a while now – and has praised the Spurs winger.

Tottenham have already secured their first signing of the summer transfer window; talk about moving quickly!

Spurs managed to swoop in and hijack Barcelona’s move for Djurgarden talent Lucas Bergvall.

The Swedish wonderkid looked destined for a move to the Camp Nou but pulled a stunning U-turn on the move and picked Tottenham instead.

Bergvall doesn’t join up with Spurs until the summer but he will have a somewhat familiar face to call upon at Tottenham.

Lucas Bergvall praises Dejan Kulusevski

Bergvall will join fellow Swede Dejan Kulusevski at Tottenham and they already have one club in common.

The 18-year-old started his career in the ranks of Brommapojkarna, just like Spurs star Kulusevski.

Whilst Kulusevski headed straight to Italy with Atalanta at just 16, Bergvall joined another Swedish club in Djurgarden.

Now joining Kulusevski at Tottenham, Bergvall has opened up on his existing relationship with the Tottenham star.

Speaking to in Sweden, Bergvall noted that Kulusevski is a ‘very warm person’ and they have known each other for a while.

Bergvall feels that can provide a real sense of ‘security’ at Tottenham, seemingly delighted to have a fellow Swede in the ranks.

“Dejan is a very warm person who I have known since before, so it is absolutely a security to come there and feel that it is Swedish there and to be able to ask him questions if you wonder about something,” said Bergvall.

Kulusevski played a key role in tempting Bergvall into joining Tottenham and it’s clear that their relationship will be pivotal.

Bergvall will be making his first move outside of Sweden and having some kind of familiarity in Kulusevski will be vital for him.

Spurs will certainly hope that Kulusevski and Bergvall can create some magic on the pitch together with the new signing poised for a huge future in North London.
