‘Love this’: Some Everton fans react as Allan urges Ancelotti’s side to improve
Some Everton supporters have been reacting on social media after Allan urged Carlo Ancelotti’s side to continue improving and avoid repeating any costly mistakes.
The Toffees have won just Premier League fixtures and succumbed to three defeats, to derail any hopes of qualifying for a European competition with the Merseyside outfit now eighth in the standings.
Allan, who joined Everton from Serie A side Napoli for £21m (), of those defeats plus April’s 1-0 win away to Arsenal, but has been without fellow summer signing Abdoulaye Doucoure .

Home form has been a particular concern for the Goodison Park natives, having taken all three points in just fixtures held since the turn of the year while losing to relegation-threatened duo Newcastle United and Fulham 2-0.
Ancelotti’s side also fell to a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa last time out, and – speaking before the game with Everton’s – Allan claimed ”we need to constantly improve” and pointed to his side’s dire home record.
“We achieved a lot of important victories away from home. At Goodison, we have lost what, in theory, were easier games,” Allan .
“Sometimes, the result was within our reach, but we drew or lost. We need to identify our mistakes to avoid repeating them. We must have the mentality of always looking to win.”
Here’s how these Everton supporters reacted to Allan’s comments, once shared on the club’s …
Not gonna lie. Allan hasn’t been bad but he could do better imo. Needs to stay fit there’s a quality player in there and like I said he’s not been bad but I don’t think he’s made the impact expected. Hopefully he stays fit and becomes sharper

Good player, but is suffering without the legs of Doucoure in that midfield.

When Doucoure is back midfield should be a lot better but it’s some of the other lads who need to get there act together
— John (@JohnEverton95)
one of the best and most important players in our squad 💙

We have had words from half the players this season yet poor performances are still happening. They need to start putting the performance and let them do the talking.Injuries are horrid and take time to get over and formations have to change but work ethic should be there always.
