‘Looks a really good fit’: Kenny Miller backs 46-year-old for Rangers post; he’s keen on the job
Kenny Miller that he believes that Giovanni van Bronckhorst looks to be a really good fit for the Rangers job amid links that he is keen on a return to Ibrox.
The Gers, of course, are looking for Steven Gerrard’s successor. It was confirmed on Thursday that he has been appointed at Aston Villa.

It remains to be seen where Rangers go from here. Obviously, it is unlikely that they would have been expecting to have to replace the 41-year-old during this international break.
The positive news is it is clearly a job that plenty will be interested in. And it appears that one of those keen on the gig is van Bronckhorst.
Reports this week suggested that the Dutchman wants the job. He is currently unemployed after a brief spell in China.

He previously enjoyed success as Feyenoord boss. The former Rangers defender led the side to the Eredivisie title during his tenure.
And Miller – who was on the Gers’ books during van Bronckhorst’s time at the club – backed his old teammate for the job following Gerrard’s departure.
“On the outside looking in, Gio looks a really good fit,” . “He knows the club inside out, he played here during a successful spell under Dick Advocaat. One cup with Feyenoord as manager. If there is an opportunity, he will want to rekindle his love affair with Rangers.”
Van Bronckhorst may help Rangers make the best of bad situation
Rangers would have obviously preferred to have kept Gerrard. However, appointing someone such as van Bronckhorst would see Rangers make the best out of a bad situation.
He has won plenty of titles as a player and manager. And he has managed at a very good level, working in the Dutch top flight.
It is not going to be an easy task taking the Gers forward in the wake of Gerrard’s departure.
But you can understand why Miller believes Rangers turning to van Bronckhorst would make a lot of sense.
