Long-term Tottenham target seals £18m RB Leipzig move
Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy in the latter stages of the transfer window as Ange Postecoglou looks to add the finishing touches to his squad.
Spurs have made three new signings so far, bringing Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and also securing the signature of Yang Min-hyuk.
With just two-and-a-half weeks left until transfer deadline day, Tottenham need to be mindful that they don’t have all that much time to make new additions.
And there will invariably be those targets who slip through the net. One player who has been linked long-term with Spurs has now officially gone elsewhere.

Tottenham target Antonio Nusa joins RB Leipzig
The player in question is Antonio Nusa, who Spurs reportedly tried to sign earlier this year. Links between Tottenham and Nusa have been doing the rounds this summer too.
However, the 19-year-old is now a “top new signing” for RB Leipzig, penning a five-year contract at the Bundesliga club.
Fabrizio Romano tweeted around the same time, reporting that Leipzig have paid Club Brugge around £18million plus add-ons.
Tottenham miss out on ‘absolutely ridiculous’ talent
Landing Antonio Nusa would have another real coup for Tottenham, who have struck gold with the likes of Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie and Lucas Bergvall in recent years.
At just 19 years of age, Nusa already has 86 competitive Brugge outings and seven Norway caps under his belt. And now, he has his big move to a Champions League club.
Nusa is a rising star who has the tools to potentially become a superstar. Dean Jones deemed the reported Spurs target an “absolutely ridiculous” talent.
It’s a shame Tottenham haven’t been able to get hold of him, but they’ll no doubt go on to strike gold once again in the rising stars market.
