Loaning out £18m midfielder could be brilliant for Arsenal, it could make them millions
Whilst cynics will tell you there’s not a lot to be positive about at Arsenal right now, there’s certainly not the case.
Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal squad are currently enjoying a warm weather training camp in Dubai, away from the negative noise back home.

Three consecutive defeats look to have derailed Arsenal’s season in the eyes of many, however, Arteta is busy restoring the confidence in his squad.
Although the run of losses was damaging, Arteta has still built a strong platform in the first half of the season.
And whilst some reflect on mistakes Arsenal made last summer, with deals for David Raya and Kai Havertz still being questioned today, the club did some diligent work.
Not all transfers can be a success, but Arsenal now seem to be making good of Albert Sambi Lokonga’s struggles to impress at the club.
The midfielder, who signed for in the summer of 2021, wasn’t quite ready for the role envisioned, but is now coming good at Luton Town.
Lokonga has now started all of Luton’s last four games under Rob Edwards, and has excelled after his long troubles with injury.
And with Arsenal searching around their squad for sellable assets right now, Lokonga’s progress could be a real boost.
Albert Sambi Lokonga’s Luton loan could be a real positive for Arsenal
It’s now feasible that Arsenal could recoup a lot of the money they paid for Lokonga if they do sell him in the summer.
And given how tight FFP restrictions are reportedly proving for Arsenal, that could be crucial.

The club seem to have big plans for the summer, when interest in Ivan Toney might finally result in a concerted push.
Moreover, fans will also be hoping that interest in Douglas Luiz may be revisited.
Clearly, if Arsenal are able to raise funds by selling Lokonga after a strong few months, his loan move will look very smart.
Rob Edwards is clearly a very talented young manager, and a loan to Luton does now look a wise choice.
That being said, it’s not impossible that Lokonga will return to Arsenal in a position to help their playing squad, Arteta was clearly a fan of his profile.
There’s a lot of ifs and buts, however, it’s clear that Lokonga’s loan move is proving to be a very positive one.
And speaking of good news, it seems one crucial Arsenal player may be ready for a return this weekend.
