Fabinho has claimed that the Elland Road atmosphere could help hi෴s Liverpool side, ahead of their clash with Leeds United at the weekend, .

Liverpool v Leeds

Leeds met Liverpool on the opening ♏day of last year’s Premier League, when they were beaten 4-3 at Anfield in a thriller.

The two sides then played out a 1-1 draw later in the campaign, ⛎in another good b💟attle.

But, cruc🎃ially, both those matches between Leeds and Liverpool were played behind closed doors.

Elland Road should now be electric this weekend, with fans now🤡 back in stadiums.

And Fabinho is expecting a real challenge, although he thinks L🦩iverpool will🅰 embrace the added atmosphere.

“Leeds are a reallyꦉ intense team, a really good team. We played there last year without supporters and without fans in it was really tough. It was a tough game, it was 1-1,” he said.

“We know their qualities and I think with the fans it will be something more for them. But, as I said, almost all the games are hard and to🅘ugh in the Premier League. We want to go there and win the game.

“This atmosphere sometimes helps us as well, even if it’s an away game. When the crowd is really participating in the game, this is good for the spec🦄💦tacle, so we like these types of games.

“It’s not easy to play agains💞t a team like Leeds bu💜t we have to be ready for everything.”

Bold comments

Elland Road can be an i👍ntimidating place for op🔯position sides to play when it really gets rocking, so Fabinho’s comments do look bold.

But it shows the confidence that is building ar🐷oun🉐d Liverpool after a strong start to the season.

Jurgen Klopp’s men hav🦩e taken seven points from 🐻their first nine games and remain unbeaten.

Leeds, m꧋eanwhile, are still looking for their first win of the new term in the Premier League, and they are yet to really click into top gear.
