Liverpool youngster Neco Williams watches videos of Trent Alexander-Arnold
Liverpool defender Neco Williams has admitted he watches videos of Trent Alexander-Arnold in order to try and improve his own game.
The Wales U19 international has watched the star blossom into one of the world’s best full-backs in a very short space of time, and unsurprisingly sees him as the ideal role model.

Speaking of the Champions League-winning Ballon d’Or nominee, : “I look up to Trent because he was at the academy from the age of six or seven, the same as me.
“I watch videos of Trent. When I train with the senior team I try to watch the things he does and then work on them.
“He has gone through all the stages and now he is classed as one of the best right-backs in the world. It shows that with hard work and dedication it can happen.”
Promising Williams is a big hope for the future at Anfield, and recently made his first-team debut against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
TBR’s view – TAA an outstanding example
Williams couldn’t be learning from anyone better than Alexander-Arnold.

He has achieved so much in such a short space of time, and it hasn’t all just been about his ability with the ball at his feet.
Alexander-Arnold has an amazing work ethic and mentality to boot, which are two things which have helped carry him to the top.
Williams might well study his game, but he absolutely has to have that same drive as the 21-year-old.
