Liverpool would be signing a bargain by beating Arsenal to £15m wonderkid
Liverpool are reportedly rivalling Arsenal and Manchester United for the signature of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jacob Bruun Larsen this summer – and at £15million he would be an exceptional bit of business for the Reds.
Dortmund only want £15million for the 20-year-old attacker, who has broken into the Dortmund side and is a regular among the matchday squad despite the mass arsenal Dortmund have to offer going forward.
Able to play on either flank or indeed up front, one-time Denmark international Larsen managed 30 appearances in all competitions last season – the majority coming off the bench, and on the left flank.
That is perhaps the main reason why he only scored three goals and laid on three assists. But his quality is more than evident, and the reason why Dortmund already have so much trust in the youngster.

Liverpool could do with a back-up striker as Divock Origi’s future remains in doubt, and Jurgen Klopp is sure to know all about Larsen given that he used to manage the German Bundesliga giants.
Able to play out wide and act as cover for Sadio Mane and Mo Salah, Larsen would be an exceptional signing for the Merseyside club – disregarding the fact he is 20 and available for a bargain price.
Adding that he is just 20 years of age and can be signed for £15million, Larsen would be an excellent addition to the Liverpool squad – boasting massive resale value and that he will get even better with time.
