- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
Liverpool are really enjoying life under Arne Slot.
There was a cloud of doubt over Anfield during the summer as supporters waved goodbye to Jurgen Klopp – one of the best managers in Liverpool’s glittering history.
But Slot has come in and hit the ground running, with his side currently leading the way in the Premier Legaue heading into the festive period.

The Dutchman didn’t have the best summer window as Liverpool missed out on signing key target Martin Zubimendi.
But, that means funds will be available to spend and they’re really keen on signing a Barcelona star – but there’s one problem.

Liverpool would love to sign Raphinha but there’s one problem
TBR Football understands that long-term admirers Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle would still love to sign Barcelona wide player Raphinha.
The former Leeds United star is loving life at Camp Nou and has established himself as a attacker.
Raphinha has netted 12 times whilst laying on 10 assists in just 17 outings for Barca this season and that form has led him to become untouchable this winter.
TBR understand it’s almost impossible to get him now, though, he remains open to a return to the Premier League in the future.
Liverpool, who are doing work on potential Mohamed Salah replacements, will have to look elsewhere.
Barcelona would rather sell Ferran Torres
TBR Football understand Barcelona would much rather offload Ferran Torres than the in-form Raphinha.
Though, the former Manchester City man isn’t keen on leaving the Catalan giants despite growing interest in his signature.
Torres has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Aston Villa ahead of the January transfer window, with a £47m price tag mooted.
