Liverpool want to sign rapid forward who’s even faster than Usain Bolt
Liverpool are eyeing a move to sign one of the fastest footballers in the world this summer.
The Arne Slot era has officially begun, and he has been putting his players through the paces at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.
With the Euros and Copa America coming to an end soon, all eyes will be on the transfer window to see who Slot will bring in as his first few signings for Liverpool.
The Reds have been linked with a number of players already, and a new name has now come out of the rumour mill. This one could excite some Liverpool fans because of his rapid pace.
How much Karim Adeyemi would cost as Liverpool eye move
Karim Adeyemi helped Borussia Dortmund reach the final of the Champions League in the 2023/24 season.
The Germany international has always been regarded as an extremely talented player, and he showed flashes of his brilliance in the previous campaign.
However, after managing just 14 goals in 66 appearances since his move from RB Salzburg, Dortmund are said to be open to selling Adeyemi.
That’s according to , who have shared the latest on his situation.
The report claims that Dortmund will consider moving Adeyemi on if they receive an offer in excess of £25.3 million this summer.
The 22-year-old isn’t short of interest. It has been revealed that Liverpool are keen to sign him, as are fellow Premier League giants Chelsea. Italian sides Juventus and AC Milan like the forward too.
Liverpool have considered signing Adeyemi in the past, in 2022 before he joined Borussia Dortmund. It will be interesting to see if they will make a move to sign him this summer.
Adeyemi, who joined Dortmund in the summer of 2022, will enter the final three years of his contract at Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Adeyemi is faster than Usain Bolt
Usain Bolt is the fastest man on the planet – everyone knows that.
The Jamaican set a world record by finishing a 100-metre race in 9.58 seconds all the way back in 2009. That feat is yet to be broken.
However, if you break that distance down to 30 metres and compare Bolt’s speed to that of Adeyemi, it’s the Borussia Dortmund man who wins that battle.
According to , Adeyemi has been clocked at 3.60 seconds over 30 metres while Bolt’s split time in his world-record run was 3.78 seconds.
The 22-year-old was asked by the outlet if ‘he is the quickest there is’. “Yes, I think so. I am very confident with that,” Adeyemi replied.
When asked if there’s anyone who comes close to his speed, he said: “Close, maybe. But not faster.”
Adeyemi holds the record for being the fastest player in Bundesliga history, having clocked 36.65 km/h (22.77 mph) against Freiburg in the second half of the 2022/23 season ().
