Liverpool told ‘unbelievable’ player would be ‘perfect’ signing, but he could now join Arsenal
Raphinha would be the perfect summer signing for Liverpool amid speculation over his future at Leeds United.
That is what their former defender Jose Enrique has posted on Twitter as the rumours around the Brazilian’s next move continue to swirl.
It looks like Liverpool’s business for the summer is done with the signings of Darwin Nunez and Calvin Ramsey.
It might be more a case of outgoings now, to raise some cash, give some players a chance to get some gametime and get some of the Nunez money back.

Raphinha would be perfect for Liverpool
Raphinha has been linked with a host of clubs, with his preference being a move to Barcelona but they do not have the money to get him in.
Arsenal look to be the front-runners in terms of English clubs, with an offer having already gone in and their efforts set to ramp up after landing Gabriel Jesus.
Tottenham are still waiting to bid and a move to their London rivals West Ham and Chelsea cannot be ruled out.
But there is no sign of Liverpool bidding yet, although Enrique wishes that they would to round off their business for the summer.
Raphinha would be the ideal man to offer competition and cover for Mo Salah, whose contract of course remains up in the air.
Maybe the ‘unbelievable‘ Brazilian could be the long term replacement, but the timing seems wrong in terms of a move to Anfield at present.
Enrique is dreaming of one more big signing, and there is nothing in the pipeline just yet, but Liverpool do tend to move quickly when they get someone in their sights.
