Liverpool think they have an in-house Mo Salah replacement but he needs to improve his finishing

The future of Mohamed Salah at Liverpool is wrapped up in uncertainty.

The Egypt international will become a free agent at the 💝end of the season.

Giv꧅eMeSport has noted that while Liverpool rate Doak highly and have been impressed with his “dribbling, vision, and creativity”, they are “trying to work out whether his work in the penalty box is going to be goo𝔉d enough to truly reach first-team level”.

“His shooting in particular is under the microscope✱ in terms of where and when he goes for goal and how that would convert into Premier League football,” adds the report.

Liverpool’s immediate plans regarding Ben Doak

While he is doing extremely well at the moment, as TBR reported over the weekend, Liverpool want to keep Doak on 🍸loan at Middlesbrough for now.

The Scotland international is expected to finish the season at Middlesbrough, and then Liverpool manager Arne Slot will take a close look at him.
